Specifications, trims, equipment and prices are researched from each manufacturer's official sources, then checked against other published data. Figures that can't be confirmed are flagged during research, and estimates are marked with ~.
Research and first drafts are produced with the help of AI tools. That is how a small independent site can document every car trim by trim.
Nothing is published automatically. Every spec sheet and article is reviewed before it goes live. News is credited to PerfectCars Editorial.
Manufacturers revise their figures, and we sometimes make mistakes. Tell us and we'll fix the page.

Each car is scored out of 10 for performance, design, technology, comfort, value and engine. The scores are our editorial assessment of the car's published specifications, equipment and price against rivals in its segment. They are not road-test results.
Where the US and UK versions of a car differ, each gets its own page with that market's specs and pricing.
